NOVEMBER 25 - 27, 2008 - WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND
The National Chemical Diversion Congress has been the key annual focal point for precursor diversion experts for the past 12 years. This tradition continues in 2008, with the conference to be held at the Inter Continental Hotel, Wellington New Zealand from 25-27 November.
This year represents the first time the Congress will be held outside Australia. The decision to hold the congress in New Zealand reflects the strong relationship that exists between Australian and New Zealand law enforcement agencies and the common issues and challenges we face as a region. This congress recognises that pro-active, collaborative partnerships that maximise the respective strengths and expertise of each partner are essential in combating precursor diversion and the manufacture of illicit drugs.
The three day event will include keynote speakers from a range of locations including Europe, the USA, and China, and delegates from all over Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region including law enforcement and forensic experts and key industry representatives.
