A neighborhood Watch program is credited with helping police shut down a meth lab last month that was located on 830 Kevin Road, in the Crestwood Hills subdivision off Walker Springs Road in West Knoxville, TN.
According to police, the lab was located in the basement of the home and had been used just a few days prior to the arrest. Police say the lab was used two to three days a week. On the day of the meth lab bust, police found about a gram of meth in the home, along with three Jack Russell terrier dogs. The dogs and the people were decontaminated at the scene. Police commented that it was unusual for them to find a meth lab in the quiet residential neighborhood.

The problem here is that the police keep releases these people back onto the streets. Hello! They are just going to do it again. I think, and I am SURE most agree, that they should keep them locked up until they have not only been decontaminated but also been detoxed of the drug from their system. Also they should then be put on some kind of house arrest type situation where they are constantly tested and kept an eye on until they can prove they will not be repeat offenders, so that the people who are smart enough NOT to do this retarded and deadly drug don’t have to suffer from others addictions. It may cost a lot but I can just about guarantee it will be WAY less then what it’s already costing and will continue to cost us, especially in the long run, to keep busting these meth labs only to release these offenders right back onto the streets. I mean really? Who is gonna clean up these streets the right way before it’s too late? I just do NOT get, and I know I am not alone in this thinking, why on earth ANYONE would want to do this deadly drug. If you wanna kill yourself then just do the right thing and get help but don’t bring us innocent down with you. Do us ALL a favor and STOP this madness. It is SO unfair that any of us should suffer from others stupidity! I will constantly pray for a miracle on this situation and that these people be released of their addiction, in Jesus name, Amen!
