The list includes addresses of some locations where law enforcement agencies reported they found chemicals or other items that indicated the presence of either clandestine drug laboratories or dumpsites.

Meth cooks face an ever present danger. Meth labs explode. But what happens after the explosion? Anyone in the home, including children and pets, face the risk of getting serious burns and breathing in deadly toxins, toxins that can burn their lungs, cause brain damage and cancer, and other serious health problems. Well, that’s what happens to the lucky ones, anyway. The others lose their lives.
But, meth cooks aren’t the only ones that are put at risk when a meth lab explodes. Once the explosion ends, the fire and the rescue efforts begin. To the firefighters, EMTs, and all who are willing to risk their lives to save others, thank you!

Police urge Pickens County, South Carolina city council to address meth lab home cleanup

Police in Pickens County, South Carolina have recommended that the City Council mandate the cleanup of meth lab homes. Currently, police do an initial cleanup after they make a meth lab bust, but no mandates are in place to insure that the home is free of toxins when someone else moves in.
