While her husband serves his country, she cooks meth in Alabama

July 7, 2008

Cortney Rae Wilson, 28, and Dennis Raymond Griffith, have been charged with conspiracy to make and distribute methamphetamine in Huntsville, Alabama. Wilson is the mother of two children, ages 6 and 8 months. She is also married to a man who is currently serving in Korea as a member of the United States Army. Griffith was with Wilson and her children when firefighters arrived.

According to news sources, firefighters went to Wilson’s Redstone home early on Sunday after receiving a call about a kitchen fire there. Investigators who arrived at Wilson’s home soon realized that they weren’t dealing with a Sunday morning breakfast gone-wrong. What they saw in Wilson’s home and in her car convinced them that they were dealing with a clandestine meth lab.
