Those weren’t burgers cooking on the grill in Milton, Florida

When police arrived at a home on Blackgate Road in Milton, Florida, they smelled something cooking. It wasn’t long before 2 men arrived in a pickup truck so they asked them “what’s cooking”? Their response reminds me what your child might say when you ask them why the kitchen smells like burnt toast – “there shouldn’t be anything burning and no one should be here.” No one seemed to know why or how a packet of Sudafed, a bottle of crystal Drano, and lithium batteries was burning in a fire pit in the backyard. No one seemed to know anything about a 2-liter bottle whose bottom was covered with a white powdery substance or knew why there was a tube coming out of it, either. The bottles of crystal Draino on the floorboard of the pickup truck were just another part of the mystery.
Daniel Ashley Danks, 28 and Richard Dickson, 28. Both of them were charged and arrested at the scene for operating a clandestine meth lab. Their bond was set at $15,000.
