Officers find four children living in an active Missouri Meth Lab

BUTLER, Mo. – Butler Police and the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested three people Sunday after a three month investigation by the Butler police department. Using a warrant, police entered the meth lab home and found two adults and four children. Another adult was found in the basement trying to remove evidence of an active methamphetamine lab.

The three adults were arrested and the four children were taken to an area hospital and were released. Two of those adults are the parents of the children. Four of the six police officers who were exposed to the hazardous chemicals were sent to an area hospital for medical treatment. One officer remained in the critical care unit as of Sunday night.
